Notification settings

Control which emails HeyNews sends you from Settings > Notifications. You can also open your in-app notifications from the bell in the top bar.

Available notifications

Toggle each email on or off:

• Billing: payment confirmations, failures, and subscription changes (on by default)
• Errors: draft failures and source issues (on by default)
• AI Writer Ready: a notification when your AI Writer is ready (on by default)
• Automated Drafts: draft-ready and automation failure emails (on by default)

In-app notifications still appear in the header even if you turn off the matching email.

In-app notifications

HeyNews also keeps account updates in your notification inbox. These include billing updates, source issues, draft errors, AI Writer status changes, and automated draft updates.

In-app notifications stay on so you can still see account updates, even if you turn off the matching email.

Saving preferences

After changing your preferences, click Save Preferences. Changes apply immediately.

Unsubscribing from emails

You can also unsubscribe using the link at the bottom of any HeyNews email.
