Profile settings

Use Account settings > Profile to update the personal details shown in HeyNews. On desktop, you can also change App Language from the language button in the top-right app header.

Editable fields

• First Name: your first name
• Last Name: your last name
• App Language: the language used for HeyNews menus, settings, messages, and notifications

Update your name fields and click Save Profile. App Language changes save as soon as you pick a new language, whether you choose it here or from the header.

App Language

Use App Language when you want the HeyNews interface in another language. This changes the app itself, including settings, messages, billing screens, and notifications. Account emails such as verification, magic-link, and password reset messages also follow your App Language when HeyNews sends them.

Your saved App Language follows you across signed-out and signed-in app screens. A verification link can open in a requested language for that visit, but your saved setting only changes when you choose a language yourself.

Your newsletter content language is separate. Change that from Publication settings when you want HeyNews to draft in a different language for the selected publication.

Email address

Your email address is tied to your login and cannot be changed from the Profile page yet. If you need to update it, contact support@heynews.co.
