Manage your plan and billing from Settings > Subscription.
HeyNews has four paid plans. Pick the one that matches how much you publish.

Everything in Hobbyist, plus:
Yearly: $831.60/year (30% off, about $69.30/month).
Everything in Starter, plus:
Yearly: $2,511.60/year (30% off, about $209.30/month).
Everything in Pro, plus:
Yearly: $4,191.60/year (30% off, about $349.30/month).
Every new account starts with a 14-day free trial after you add a payment method, regardless of the plan you pick:
The trial limits apply to every plan. Your plan's full allowance (5, 15, 45, or 90 issues per month) starts the moment the trial ends.
During the trial, the Subscription tab shows "Free Trial" on your plan card and lists the price as "$0 today ยท $X/month after trial." You'll also see the trial limits: 5 draft issues total, 1 publication, and 5 revisions per draft. Under that, HeyNews shows the full plan allowance that starts after billing begins.
HeyNews sends reminder emails before your trial ends. When the trial period ends, your subscription begins automatically. Cancel before the trial is up and you won't be billed.
Add-ons work with any active paid plan and add to your plan's normal limits.
Add-ons are not available during the free trial. You'll see the Add-ons section with a note that says "Available after trial ends," but the Add buttons stay off until your subscription starts billing. That way, you won't get surprise add-on charges when the trial ends.
Removes the per-draft revision limit on Hobbyist, Starter, and Pro. Team already includes unlimited revisions.
Add extra issues per month when you need more capacity without upgrading tiers.
Add extra connected publications to any plan.
If your add-on spend nears the cost of the next tier, HeyNews shows an upgrade prompt on the Subscription tab. Upgrading usually gives you more capacity for about the same cost.
From the Subscription tab you can:
If you switch to a plan with fewer publication slots than you currently use, HeyNews asks you to disconnect publications or add enough publication capacity first.
Need a short break? On an active paid plan, the Subscription tab has a Pause for one month button.
Pause is not available during the free trial, while a payment is past due, or for admin-granted accounts.
If Stripe cannot collect payment, your account is paused until the invoice is paid. You'll see an Update Payment Method button in HeyNews, and Stripe may also email you a secure payment link.
Your data stays in place. Once the payment succeeds, your subscription becomes active again and you can keep working.
If you don't subscribe before the 14-day trial ends, your account is paused and you'll see a full-screen message when you log in with a Subscribe Now button.
Your data stays exactly as you left it. Subscribe and pick up right where you left off.
Before the current flat-rate plans, Pro used a single graduated-tier price with one billing slot per connected publication. Customers on those legacy subscriptions keep their current pricing, capacity, and publication count. The Current Plan card notes "Legacy quantity-based pricing" so you know which pricing model you're on.
Click Cancel subscription from the Subscription tab to start the cancellation flow.
If support schedules cancellation for you or you cancel from the Stripe portal, HeyNews still shows the same Keep my subscription option after the billing status syncs. After the billing period ends, HeyNews stops checking sources and newsletter generation is disabled.
Trial cancellations are immediate. After canceling a trial, restarting is paid-only, so a new free trial isn't available. Use Open Billing Portal to view invoices, update your payment method, or open the Stripe customer portal at any time.
