When Add stories from links cannot read a page, that row no longer just fails. Open the page yourself, capture it with the HeyNews Chrome extension, and the content goes back into the row that was waiting for it. The story then behaves like any other in Compose.
This needs Chrome extension v1.2.0. It updates on its own, and if it has not, reinstall it from the Chrome Web Store.
Redirects are clearer too. When a pasted link sends HeyNews somewhere else, you can see where it landed, and if you already have that story, HeyNews reuses it instead of adding a second copy.
If you signed in and then signed in again in the same tab, you could be bounced out to a sign-out page, or end up on the account from your first attempt. Both are fixed. A second sign-in goes to the account you typed.
Content Desk and the story picker in Compose no longer count every matching story before showing you the first page. On a large story library that count was much of the wait. The counts you see on screen are unchanged.
