Billing changes are easier to trust

Canceling a paid subscription now has stronger confirmations from start to finish. When you schedule a cancellation, keep your subscription, or reach the end of a paid billing period, HeyNews records the change and sends the matching email and in-app notification once.

HeyNews also waits for billing to confirm cancellations and reversals before updating your account. If billing cannot confirm the change, HeyNews keeps your subscription as-is instead of guessing.

Trial cancellations now send the same kind of confirmation. Trials still end immediately when you cancel them, and restarting after that is paid-only.

Sources are more reliable

Content Desk now shows the HeyNews curated feeds panel again when curated feeds are available. You can add a vetted feed from the Sources tab without pasting a URL yourself.

RSS and website source checks also handle slow feeds, duplicate links, and YouTube-style source matching more consistently. One problematic feed is less likely to interrupt the rest of your sources, and duplicate source rows are less likely when the same publisher appears in more than one form.

Company Newsletter setup is clearer

Company Newsletter customers now get steadier setup status on the dashboard. When setup needs a retry, HeyNews is better at keeping the delivery details in place, so the next step shown in the app better matches what will happen next.

Fixes

  • Sign-in links and account emails now open the right HeyNews app more consistently.
  • Pages with a lot of saved data are less likely to end in a confusing error.
  • Source warnings and recovery messages are more consistent when a source needs attention.
  • Billing confirmations now leave a clearer history if support needs to review a cancellation or reversal.
