HeyNews now asks what you are setting up before it starts onboarding. If you already have a creator newsletter, you can connect beehiiv, Kit, an archive, RSS, or uploaded issue history and review the stories HeyNews finds.
If you are starting a new creator newsletter or setting up a company newsletter, HeyNews sends you to book a setup call instead of asking for source details too early. When you come back after booking, the dashboard shows that booked setup call so the next step is clearer.
Company Newsletter setup also keeps its status more dependable after reviews, test sends, and delivery decisions.
Subscription pause and resume actions now wait for stronger confirmation from billing before HeyNews updates your account. The matching emails and in-app notifications are also more consistent.
That means fewer stale billing messages after you pause, resume, cancel, or keep your subscription.
Source checks are more forgiving when beehiiv, Kit, RSS feeds, or source discovery has a temporary problem. HeyNews keeps the useful sources moving, avoids duplicate source rows more often, and shows fewer noisy warnings when it can recover on its own.
Content Desk also keeps prefilled stories in Compose more reliably when a draft starts from selected stories.
Adding a source is also less likely to stop because of a brief setup hiccup.
The signed-in app now loads less work up front. Dashboard and Settings should feel quicker to open, especially on slower connections.
Settings also got cleaner. Profile now focuses on name, email, and App Language, with older settings moved out of the way.
