When you connect a newsletter platform (beehiiv or Kit), HeyNews automatically creates a dedicated publication for it. Your AI Writer, sources, and analytics are scoped to that newsletter. Switch between publications using the switcher at the top of the sidebar.
If you have multiple integrations under one publication, you'll see a split option on the new Publications page. Splitting moves your AI Writers and sources to separate publications, one per newsletter.
The sidebar got reorganized. Your active publication now shows at the top of the sidebar, so you always know which newsletter you're working on. Connections moved out of Settings and into its own page in the sidebar navigation.
The header is now just a dark mode toggle and your account menu. Everything else lives in the sidebar where it belongs.
If you found HeyNews through the Kit App Store, you can now install it directly from there. The OAuth flow handles login and setup in one go; there's no need to sign up separately first.
HeyNews was occasionally generating sections that read like sponsored content. That's fixed. Generated newsletters won't include sponsored sections.

We updated the language throughout the app to match what you actually use: newsletters, not publications. The change appears on the Connections page, in subscription settings, and during onboarding. Nothing changed about how the product works.
Sometimes the HeyPost extension saved articles with empty content. That's fixed. Articles you clip will now arrive in HeyNews with their full text intact.
