Sign in with just your email

No more passwords. When you sign up or log in, enter your email, and we'll send you a magic link. Click it, you're in. If you prefer Google sign-in, that still works too.

Existing accounts work the same way: just enter the email you used when you signed up.

Connect any newsletter via its public archive

If your newsletter lives on Substack, Ghost, Mailchimp, Medium, or any platform with a public archive page, you can now connect it to HeyNews. No API key needed.

Go to Connections, click "Connect Newsletter Archive," and paste your archive URL. HeyNews finds your past issues automatically and imports up to 50 of them for voice training. Training starts as soon as the import finishes.

Your publication name updates to match your newsletter, and the connection counts toward your plan's newsletter limit just like beehiiv or Kit connections do.

AI drafts now use the full article content

When HeyNews pulls stories from your sources, it now fetches and reads the full article text, not just the title and summary. Your generated newsletters draw from the complete source material, so summaries are more accurate, and every section has better context.

Fixes

  • Google sign-in wasn't working. The OAuth callback was misconfigured. It works now.
  • Some AI Writers weren't showing up. A visibility issue hid certain AI Writers from the dashboard. Fixed.
  • Source discovery finds more feeds. RSS feed detection has gotten smarter at recognizing newsletter platforms and filtering out junk domains, so adding sources by URL works more reliably.
