If Allow previously used stories was checked, that automation now shows All available with the box off. That is how it already ran: no date limit, and used Stories still skipped. Check the box again if you want those Stories back. The label finally does what it says.
New automations start on Since last draft, so the next issue picks up after the last Draft. You can also ask Refine with AI a question and leave the Draft as it is.
Automations now offer the same date windows as Compose, except a calendar date: Since last draft, Last 24 hours, Last 7 days, Last 14 days, Last 30 days, a custom number of minutes, hours, or days, and All available. New automations start on Since last draft. An automation that already looked back a set number of days keeps that window.
A standard automation can also create an unsent beehiiv Draft next to each HeyNews Draft when beehiiv is the ready Sending Connection. The option starts off. You still review and send from beehiiv.
Choose Ask a question for an explanation or summary. The answer stays in chat, with lists, links, and quotes formatted, and the Draft stays as it is.
On an ordinary Draft, a question uses one AI revision. If your account uses credits, that costs one credit. Cancelling while the request is still waiting, or in the first ten seconds after your AI Writer starts on it, gives the revision and the credit back.
On a credit-funded Newsletter Format, those questions use the included review messages first. An included message costs nothing, and cancelling before the answer arrives gives it back. After the included messages are used, each later message costs one credit. A paid message follows the same ten-second cancel.
Compose has an optional Subtitle. Leave it blank and beehiiv uses your preview text, as before. Updating an untouched beehiiv Draft keeps its web address when you rename it in HeyNews.
If a copy needs attention, Draft Review tells you what to do next. When HeyNews cannot tell whether beehiiv made the Draft, check beehiiv first. Then choose It's in beehiiv or It's not in beehiiv. HeyNews waits for your answer instead of making a possible duplicate.
