Open Publication settings to change the selected publication. Use Publications when you need the account-wide list.
A publication is your newsletter's home in HeyNews. It holds your sources, AI Writers, issues, and settings. When you sign up, HeyNews creates one publication for you automatically. Connect Kit from the Publication where you want that account to live. Create another Publication first when you run a separate newsletter. Newsletter archives add past issues to the Publication you're already using.
Give your publication a name that makes sense for your newsletter (e.g., "Tech Weekly" or "Marketing Updates").
If the name is still My Publication, your first newsletter connection or past issue import can replace it with the name found at the provider. A name you chose yourself stays unchanged when you connect beehiiv, Kit, or a newsletter archive.
Set your publication timezone so dates, times, and schedules match your location.
Choose the language for new Drafts in this Publication. It takes priority over the language your AI Writer learned from past issues. Existing Drafts stay as they are. App Language controls menus and account messages separately.
Set the time your issues are usually sent. HeyNews uses this for scheduling and reporting.
Click Save after updating any publication settings. You'll see a confirmation when changes are saved.
If you no longer use a publication, you can archive it from the Publications page in the sidebar.
