Use Connections & imports to manage the publishing and history inputs for the selected publication. The publication name appears in the page header so you can check the scope before making a change.
The page is split into three sections:
Each section shows what is already connected and gives you the relevant add or import action.
beehiiv and Kit connections are for active newsletters. A connection for another newsletter belongs in a separate HeyNews publication. Past issue sources and file imports add history to the publication you're already working in, and one publication can have several of them.
For each connected platform, you'll see:
For beehiiv and Kit, select View past issues below the imported count to open Voice & past issues > Past issues for the same publication.
Click Connect in any section:
If a completed archive check finds no usable issues, HeyNews says so. Check that the URL points to the newsletter's RSS feed or public issue archive, then reconnect with the correct URL.
Click Remove on a connected account and confirm. Stories that HeyNews already found stay in your account, but HeyNews stops checking that connection for new content.
If you want to retire an entire publication, go to Publications and archive it from there. Archived publications can be restored for 30 days. See Publication settings for details.
When you connect Kit, HeyNews sends you to Kit so you can approve access. After that, Kit brings you back to HeyNews. If it works, you'll see a success message. If not, HeyNews tells you what went wrong.
